I may use esoteric black magic.
Or, not. I’m actually just a hard-working audio engineer and musician with enough experience and knowhow to help you achieve results that exceed your expectations.
I’m Alan Brucke, a prolific musician, and self-taught engineer. I have worked tirelessly for years to hone my skills in various situations, from recording my own bands, to working on friends’ music, to starting this business. I am obsessed with music and audio, and my work ethic speaks for itself.

Perhaps you consider yourself a bit of an audio engineer. Now, the barrier to entry is lower than ever, which is fantastic. YouTube is a wonderland of educational content on audio engineering. I would just say this: mixing and mastering are lifelong journeys. In the first few years of learning these crafts, it can be really helpful to work with more experienced engineers to ensure your vision is achieved without compromises. I can lend my experience and a valuable second opinion to your project, which will lead to better results.

For one song, expect a 48-hour turnaround. While I work very fast, it is highly important that I sleep on every mix or master and come back to it with fresh ears before I send it to you. This ensures that I send out only the highest quality work I can do. Rush jobs are available, but cost extra.

For all completed HPA projects, you will receive the uncompressed, lossless export of each song, in its native sample rate and bit depth. You will also receive 320kbps mp3 exports of each song. Additional file formats or project files can be requested.

Currently, my studio is outfitted with a Mac Studio M2 Max computer, running Cubase Pro 14 for mixing, and Wavelab Pro 12 for mastering, with a curated collection of top shelf plugins and instruments available. I use Adam Audio T7V monitors, fed from the SSL 12 interface, and two pairs of Sennheiser headphones, both closed-back and open-back. For hardware, I currently have a Warm Audio WA73-EQ preamp and a WesAudio ng76 FET compressor. Near-term upgrades include professional acoustic treatment for my room.
